Loughborough Lightning were one of the founding members of the Vitality Netball Superleague and have featured in every season since 2005. Loughborough Lightning are part of the wider elite sport franchises based at Loughbourgh University.

With some of the world’s best players having represented them, they continue to inspire and develop talent through their pathway and Superleague activity. Lightning have made the Grand Final on four occasions and won their first title in 2021.
